In-progress information
Mar. 14th, 2019 11:05 pmCharacter Name: Jack-O Valentine
Series: Guilty Gear
Age: Physically looks like she could pass off as someone in her 20's; spiritually, a lot older. Like a hundred years at least. It's complicated(tm).
Keywords: Whimsy, curiosity, philosophy, 'nothing', riddles.
Abilities / Equipment:
Power of the Backyard: When even Sol Badguy, the main character of the franchise, is concerned about this woman's output, that says something. Jack-O is alarmingly dangerous even in her incomplete state -- it's made clear via revelations from the most current entries in the series that Justice, the Commander Gear that she's supposed to be merged with, is a legitimate threat to all existence in Guilty Gear. Her mere existence was enough to cause the cause "Information Flares" that created an influx of Gears in Japan, on top of leaving them mortally ill to varying degrees. Jack-O is also capable of keeping up with other series veterans in spite of looking like an innocent cinnamon roll who just wants a good time the whole way.
It's also noted that Justice can potentially merge the Backyard with the current world. This is an extra spicy bit of bad news given that would kind of destroy everything.
The Organ: This piece of magical tech, portrayed as an actual holographic organ that she keys away at to activate certain magical implements, works in tandem with the pumpkin-like Ghosts that she can pull out of nowhere and place down like portable barracks. It's also been used in situations outside of combat, such as her searching up information on Bedman, one of the antagonists, at the end of his Episode, and looking into humanity's progress in her Episode.
